I moved to Montreal in 92 so I lived vicariously through my sister who was 5 years older and got to experience this stuff first hand. She would tell me on the phone of these Voodoo BBQs, with DV, the Gruesomes, seeing other bands like the Nils, the Stand, Jerry Jerry. Seemed like a vibrant era, a good time to live in that city. You did a fine job of capturing this in your blog post. Keep 'em coming!
